On the temple steps outside of the dojo with Koga Sensei after another great training session with him, Kenji Kita Sensei, Karu Sensei and Fujikowa Sensei. Feeling very fortunate that I have such a great teacher and human being as my martial arts mentor. Sensei is such a class act, not to mention an extremely skilled budoka. He is what a true master of the martial arts should be, humble, confident, without pretence, no airs or graces. Nothing to prove but so much to give. He is who he is.

It has also been a pleasure to be in the company of this fine group of students who have not only trained their butts off in extremely humid conditions, but have also absorbed so much information in such a short period of time. I am proud of the courage they have shown and the commitment they have made to improving their art. By their actions they have represented me and West Coast Aikido Martial Arts Academy with distinction and i am proud to call them my students.
